Auto Mechanic Jobs description
An auto mechanic is responsible for taking care of all the service related technical aspects of a vehicle. Typical duties of an auto mechanic include preparing a vehicle for service, performing a complete check of the vehicle, diagnosing for faults in the vehicle, taking notes about the problems noticed, repairing and replacing faulty parts, coordinating with parts manager, checking if the vehicle performs as desired, taking test drive of vehicles in order to check for problems, attending training sessions, adhering to the company\'s service guidelines, meeting customer at the time of delivery and taking feedback, and performing other tasks as assigned by the auto service manager.An auto mechanic should have a high school diploma. A certification to work as an auto mechanic professional may be required. Prior experience working as auto mechanic is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills are required for an auto mechanic position. A valid driver\'s license may be essential for an auto mechanic role.
