Automotive Sales Jobs description
An automotive sales professional is responsible for assisting customers answering their questions; helping them select a vehicle; selling a minimum number of vehicles based on targets; explaining product performance and features to prospects; offering test drives to all prospects, following various procedures to obtain identification; keeping abreast of new products, features, and accessories available; referring closed deals to finance departments; preparing vehicles for customer delivery; keeping abreast on the features of newer models of vehicles of both the employer and its competitors; and handling customers objections through to the point rebuttals. An automotive sales professional typically reports to an automotives sales manager.An automotive sales professional has an associate\'s degree or a bachelor\'s degree. An MBA degree is advantageous. Prior experience in automotive sales is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills are a key trait for an automotive sales position.
