The automotive seating and electronics supplier Lear Corp. is expanding its facility located in Spartanburg County, SC, and adding up to 140 jobs.
The company currently employs 237 in Duncan and will spend $10.8 million on a new building to increase its seat production. “We are pleased to move forward with an expansion at our plant in Spartanburg County to supply BMW,” said Lou Salvatore, a Lear senior vice president. “This new investment will allow us to expand the range of products made at our Duncan facility and better meet increasing customer demand.”
