NSK Steering Systems America, a Bennington, Vermont auto parts maker, has let another 71 employees go. The cuts illustrate the continuing struggles of the auto industry.

The company makes steering columns for many of the world's car manufacturers.

This is the fifth time the Bennington facility has cut jobs. The latest round of cuts brings the total number of layoffs to 200 since October.
