 POSITION SUMMARY
Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck maintenance. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS *Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service *Coordinate fleet availability *Schedule maintenance *Produce mechanics' schedule *Develop and upgrade fleet information system *Obtain permits and licenses; maintain records of permits and licenses *Maintain inventory of repair parts and equipment; requisition replacement stock *Purchase parts for maintenance department *Prepare fuel inventory and reports *Prepare repair reports and vehicle requests *Review life cycle costing reports *Maintain and evaluate tires *Recommend capital purchase of new equipment *Select vendors *Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports *Maintain flexibility to work any shift, including weekends *Travel to offsite locations to support business needs *Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS * High School Diploma or GED *5+ years experience in diesel mechanics/technology, and two years management experience; or combination of relevant education and experience *Ability to operate all tools and equipment associated with a diesel engine shop, trucks, tractors, trailers *Ability to continue education *Familiarity with truck maintenance terms and processes *Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects *Accuracy/attention to detail *Maintain confidentiality *Ability to work in a fast-paced environment *Valid commercial driver's license

DESIRED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION * Bachelor's Degree, Non Degree Program *Any experience directing/participating on project *Proficient in Microsoft Office
