Position Overview
As an Industry Marketing Manager for Automotive, you will have the opportunity to lead, plan, and contribute to initiatives that support marketing and sales of industrial design, visualization, and manufacturing software used by automotive OEMs and suppliers globally. Partnering with product management, business strategy, and account-based marketing teams, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans that align with product and industry go-to-market strategy.
You will use your automotive subject-matter expertise to develop high-impact messaging, build compelling sales assets, develop engaging web experiences, and create informative campaigns and collateral supporting account-based marketing efforts.
Partner with business development and product management to translate product and industry go-to-market strategy into impactful marketing plans for building awareness and generating demand
Develop compelling customer-facing messaging that resonates with automotive customers and prospects
Translate details about customer challenges and technical product capabilities into persuasive copy and marketing assets that clearly convey the value proposition of our automotive solutions
Create presentations, whitepapers, eBooks, infographics, videos, and websites that fuel our sales teams and account-based marketing activities
Create inspiring customer stories that convey the value our technology and solutions provide
Support product launches with updated collateral, websites, messaging, and live and digital events
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS or equivalent degree in industrial design, engineering, business, or marketing
Experience with the automotive industry, particularly for industrial design and visualization
Amazing writer with proven ability to turn technical information into persuasive content
Ability to create and maintain marketing strategy documents and the product launch plans
Preferred Qualifications
5 years product marketing or similar experience in the high-tech/software industry
Working knowledge of industrial design software (Alias, ICEM Surf, NX) and visualization software (VRED, Modo)
Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
Demonstrated ability to be successful in a matrix management organization
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions to closure
Experience effectively working across multiple departments such as product management, sales, business development, field marketing, design/web team, social media, and PR
Thrives in a dynamic environment where global requirements shift to meet changing business needs
